When does my first hour officially start?

The 1st hour begins at the predetermined time of the event.

What is your minimum rental time?

We have a 1-hour minimum with ½ hour increments to follow.

Are the carriages and horses safe?

We make every effort to ensure a safe ride for everyone. All of our vehicles are equipped with slow moving warning signs, flashing lights and headlights. We also belong to CONA, Carriage Operators of North America, a national organization that sets forth guidelines for its members. Safety is a top priority for our company.

What is included in the price?

Everything is cleaned prior to your event:

  • The horses are groomed
  • The carriages are polished and shined.
  • The horses and vehicles are transported to the desired location.
  • The driver’s time is reserved to give special attention to the customer.
  • Blankets are provided for cool temperatures or cold weather.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel the contract:

  • within two (2) weeks of the event date, you will receive a full refund, excluding the deposit.
  • less than two (2) weeks before the event date, you will receive a refund of the total contract price.
  • after the driver has left Breezy Lane property on the day of the event, you will receive no refund.
  • If the contract is cancelled by Breezy Lane Carriage Company, you will receive a full refund, excluding the initial deposit.

How far can the vehicles and horses travel for an event?

A charge of $2/mile will be included in the contracted price if the event is over 20 miles from Breezy Lane Carriage Company.
